P Diddy's 3am perfume advert has been banned by American department store Macy's.
Why? Because it shows his real-life girlfriend Cassie Ventura starkers
and straddling him for a filthy sex scene. The original ad for Diddy's
perfume sees Cassie baring her naked body while sitting on top of her
boyfriend of seven years, even flashing a nipple ring.
The promo cuts between scenes of the
couple throwing each other against walls and kissing, before culminating
in a graphic sex scene in which Cassie chokes Diddy. Bit much for a
toiletry campaign.
So filthy is the ad that Macy's, who
were set to launch the perfume, demanded an edited version before
selling the fragrance. A source told Page Six: "The full-length version
includes such provocative images that retailers were concerned about
young customers seeing [them]."
After attempting to get the full video
out on cable networks – before being turned down for being too raunchy –
Diddy agreed to edit out some of the sexier segments. So calm down
everyone – you won't have to watch this power couple romp while waiting
for Corrie to come back on.
